We are proud to offer you our incredible 11-17s Summer Camp from Woodhouse Grove School, an excellent independent boarding school in West Yorkshire, England.
Students can choose to stay for one or two weeks, between 9th and 22nd August, either residential or non-residential.
Set in beautiful rural surround, to the north of Apperley Bridge, the grounds are second to none, providing a secure, friendly environment for our students to explore in absolute comfort and safety.
Facilities are first class. Students have access to the swimming pool, sports hall, theatre and the extensive school grounds. All accommodation is in twin rooms with an en-suite.
Local shops, cafes and restaurants are all within a 15 minute walk of the school for students to frequent in their down-time, with parent permission.
Newly opened in 2015, Apperley Bridge railway station is located just across the road from the school's chapel. We are short drive (10 miles) from the metropolitan city of Leeds, and we are very close (3 miles) to Leeds Bradford international Airport. Transfers to-and-from the airport are included in the price.
Students can choose from multiple courses, either specialising in one, or combining several: Screen Acting, Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, Filmmaking, Special effects makeup, Costume and Set Design.
As well as our academic success, we pride ourself on our excellent pastoral care. We are there to support and guide young people; to encourage them as well as teach.
Our summer camps provide a safe environment for young people to explore and grow; to set off on a journey of great personal growth and understanding.
As an Ofsted approved childcare provider, the safety and well-being of our students is at the heart of everything we do.
Our staff are qualified teachers and industry professionals. We are enhanced-DBS checked with up-to-the-minute child protection training, for parent peace of mind.
All our courses are completely inclusive—our fees are also completely inclusive. The only additional costs involved would be if your child wants to purchase snacks or merchandise from our tuck shop (hoodies, t-shirts, caps) or visit the local amenities.
